Needle Dispense Valves

Needle valves are used for the application of small doses of liquids from low to medium viscosity with high accuracy and repeatability. The valve is opened by pulsating air flow pressure from the valve controller. The spring assists the valve to quickly return to the closed position for immediate shutoff of the flow. The valve has a second air inlet port that closes the valve at a controlled rate, thereby providing improved metering accuracy. Dose volumes can be adjusted by turning the knob at the top of the valve. At the end of dosing with a needle-type valve, an increased dose of the substance is formed at the end of the profile of the applied material (Fig. 5). This is because when the valve is closed, the needle, dropping to the working hole, displaces an additional portion of the material. Needle-type metering valves are ideal for spot application of material, as well as for pouring and sealing. Such valves are most widely used in various sectors of the national economy, so their range is the most diverse.
